The Otis Kry Band
Well, THANK YOU!! The easiest thing for me to do was walk out of our scheduled rehearsal and it really wasn't that easy. The night before was sleepless, I was up and still working on a song at 4:30 and my mind wouldn’t let go of what I was going to have to do, END everything. Having you all in my life and on my journey was the best thing to happen to me in a very long time. The fact that you offered to join “The Band” was beautiful but to become friends, mentors and just bloody good people well that was a spiritual intervention. Coming from where I started, being gifted daily with a song or two, to presenting it to Art to add a little LEAD guitar work and bringing a tune to practice to watch it come alive. My trust in you all to develop one of my songs was like trusting you with a newborn child, saying “Here, she’s in your hands now.” For me hearing what you all added to the project is and was just incredible and now to let it all go, well to say it was and is, earth shattering at the least it is and was just, crushing. So, my friends. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you did to make my dreams come true. We have lots of memories and Mark has promised to do up some videos of our last time playing “Off The Floor.” I have no doubt that you all will go on to greater things and will have fun taking YOUR project to the people, I wish nothing but good things and much success for you. Please excuse my behavior yesterday and know it was extremely hard to leave, such good friends and fellow musicians. I will treasure you always – Pat Bateman aka Otis Kry
